It should not be bad to the point of getting physically ill from the smoke. I understand it is a place where smoking is allowed, so I expect there to be cigarette smoke, but they obviously have not changed their filters and/or cleaned the ventalation system ever, because it dos not work. Blackjack does not have 'non smoking' tables.
Tried sitting in 'non smoking slots.' There is no seperation between the area/ section for non smoking slots, so the smoke was just as bad as the smoking area. Ate meals to the smell of fresh cigarette smoke, how apetizing. There is a smoking section in the buffet, which is about 20 feet away from non-smoking with no divider. We ate at the buffet (45 to 90 minute wait all weekend). We stayed in new tower, 4th floor (non smoking floor) and smoke came in the vents/ under the door. This year, the rooms were almost as smokey as the casino. In the past, we visited the casino for a while and would seek refuge from the smoke in the rooms. We left the weekend all feeling sick from the smoke (coughing/ fatigue).
Since they remodeled, several years back, the smoke issue has continued to get worse. My family stayed here for a weekend getaway recently.
